Dear Animal Control,
We are Joe & Alyce of Longwood. We have a mother and three baby raccoons coming to our porch to feed. We've managed to have the mother spayed but can't get close to her ferral baby raccoons. We would to have them removed. Because we put food out, other cats are coming to our home too. My husband and I have been long time animal lovers. Indoors we have a set of 15 year old sister raccoons. a long haired Rancoon as well as a mother (who was starving eating bird seed when we befriended her) who ended up pregnant (2 more mouths to feed). Our indoor raccoon s who also can go outside have had their shots and are well taken care of. We feel we have done our part to help the raccoon s in this area. But this problem is becoming severe. I'm concerned about the event of Spring and the outside baby raccoons coming in heat. Our home is in Longwood. We would really like the porch raccoon s 4 in all removed. I believe our town committee needs help with this problem. When we asked the Mayor they had no ideas or solutions. Can you help us out. Thank You.
